Hasse Southern Magnolia
Along with 'Claudia Wannamaker' Southern Magnolia, Hasse is another Magnolia selected by the great Johnny Brailsford of Orangeburg, SC.The foliage is extremely lustrous dark green with a light, rusty brown back, and creamy white flowers decorate the tree in spring and summer. It is the perfect Magnolia for restricted spaces-keeping a tight columnar-pyramidal shape as it ages. Dirr and Warren describe Hasse as a "Grand selection" and "the best upright cultivar". Hasse is a stunning mature selection of Southern Magnolia.
