Dan Fenton American Holly
An unusual name for a female Holly, so we assume Mr. Fenton must have been an exceptionally worthy man. Dan Fenton American Holly is indeed a female and produces a nice set of red berries. Introduced by Dr. Orton of Rutgers, ‘Dan Fenton’ makes a well-branched pyramidal holly, perhaps a little broader in outline than some opacas at a young age. Foliage is clean, green, and lustrous.
