Milliken Oak
Discovered in the Milliken Arboretum at the Milliken & Company headquarters in Spartanburg, SC this remarkable selection of Overcup Oak is noted for its strong, upright growth habit and narrower form. Now patented as ‘Milliken Oak’ with rights assigned to the Noble Tree Foundation, this beauty was first noticed by Avid plantsman Stewart Winslow in the mid 90's. Combining the architectural presence of its form with the rugged adaptability of Overcup Oak, Milliken is sure to impress in any landscape. Dark green foliage remains attractive late into the season before shifting to yellow in fall.
